Thought I would put some pictures of our new home we bought last June on our blog. We had lived in our other home since December, 1991. We had had it built. Jan said that after our dog Bosco died, we were going to move and downsize. Well I kept Bosco alive as long as I could but he insisted on leaving and going to doggie heaven. So we put 407 Woodgrove Trace on the market and sold it 6 months later. Our new home is about 600 sq.ft. smaller and Jan likes everything about it. It is in the Kingsley Park subdivision about 4 miles further out in the country.
Our home has three bedrooms, two baths, a living room, a formal dining room, a kitchen with dinette area, a small back porch, and a two car garage. We put a roof over our patio which makes it very nice. We have a bonus room over the garage and I call it my "Man Room". I have my computer, my regular desk, my big TV, and my new Lazy Boy recliner in it.. Jan doesn't even come up often since she says she doesn't like to climb the stairs. The pictures identify themselves. I even do all the cleaning up there. Come to see us.

The four brothers and wives spent a week at Edisto Beach after the Columbia gathering. I didn't take any pictures of us during that time. But we had a great time . The house we rented was on the sound. We saw the most beautiful sunsets. Had great meals and made great memories. Aunt Betty was our guest at several meals. The alligator and turtles were lying by the creek which runs by Joe and Liz's beach home at Ocean Ridge. We hope to make this an annual affair.

The Goodman clan gathered in Columbia at the State Fairgrounds. Gary is the manager of the SC State Fair, and he and Brenda were our hosts for the day. We had 21 in attendance. Matthew and Aimee were at the bowl game in Charlotte. Donald, Michelle, and Daniel didn't make it because Daniel got sick, and Ashley was on a church trip in Tennesse. But there were 5 grandchildren in attendance. Eddie Mack and Joyce's grandson Zach, Joe and Liz's grandson Logan (1 yr), and Gary and Brenda's three - Evie(3 yr), Mary Fran (2 yr) and Ward (3 months) were the life of the party.
Eddie Mack's family includes Joyce, sons Macky and Todd, daughter in law Belinda and Zack.
Joe and Liz are joined by son Mike, his wife Holly and grandson Logan.
Gary's two children Fran and Grayson were at the party withFran's husband Drew and the three children. Brenda has two children, five grandchildren, and one great grandchild from a previous marriage. Gary and Brenda are alot older than the rest of us since they have great grandchildren!!
And poor Grayson and Jan were there by themselves. Check the early posting for the Florida grandchildren. Next year we hope everyone will be able to make it. God is good and has blessed us richly.

Our nephew Nick came down from Raleigh to spend Christmas with us. He stayed from Christmas Eve to Dec. 27. Grayson and Nick played golf twice. We had our Christmas dinner with Grandmother and James at the Presbyterian Home in Clinton, SC. Nick is working on his accounting degree and should be finished in early 2010
