Christmas in Rock Hill - 2010

Papa is Matthew's great grandfather. He is 97 years old. He lives in a nursing home in Rock Hill. He is holding Jan's hand and he did not let it go during our visit!
Papa had cancer of the voice box about 50 years ago and needs vocal assistance. But he doesn't use any aid anymore. You have to read his lips. Well, Jan is the best at doing that. And even she has a diffficult time with it.
Papa so enjoyed our visit. Notice him holding onto Jan's hand.
Matthew and Papa have always been close. When Matthew was a little boy, he would spend the weekend with Papa and Granma Annie.
Jan helped Papa get ready for lunch.

Divinity Care Facility Christmas Party 2010

We had our 5th Annual Christmas Party at Blue Bay Restaurant on December 7, 2010. DCF has had an outstanding year. We are purchasing our building instead of paying rent. We are improving the facility through upgrades and improvements to the building. We are using Pat Kabore as our Case Manager which has enabled us to provide better service to our residents. We recently completed a very successful Christian Rally at DCF. We are focusing on our main objective of caring for homeless men. And we thank the good Lord for all these blessings.

Biltmore Visit November 2010

The brothers three and beautiful spouses at the Wine Shop at Biltmore. Gary and Brenda were still at the Inn. We had dinner together at Biltmore and took the Candlelight tour of the Home. Our tour started at 630PM and lasted about 1.5 hours. Joe/Liz and Brenda/Gary spent Friday and Saturday nights at Biltmore Inn. Eddie Mack/Joyce and Jan/Grayson stayed in Hendersonville at Jan/Grayson's place. A good time was had by all.
Another picture minus Joe who took this picture.

This time Joyce took the picture.
There were still lots of colorful trees at Biltmore to see.
