Thanksgiving with the Caters!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. Jan and I had dinner with Suzanne and Norton Cater, our good friends from Greenville. Their son Josh and family were there also. The family included wife Dianne and son Josh and daughter Annie. They live in Nashville. Suzanne is a superb cook. The meal was excellent. A good time was had by all.
Ms. Annie operated the computer for us. She knows alot more than I do!!
Jan was ready for a great meal with the Caters.

Biltmore Visit November 2010

The brothers three and beautiful spouses at the Wine Shop at Biltmore. Gary and Brenda were still at the Inn. We had dinner together at Biltmore and took the Candlelight tour of the Home. Our tour started at 630PM and lasted about 1.5 hours. Joe/Liz and Brenda/Gary spent Friday and Saturday nights at Biltmore Inn. Eddie Mack/Joyce and Jan/Grayson stayed in Hendersonville at Jan/Grayson's place. A good time was had by all.
Another picture minus Joe who took this picture.

This time Joyce took the picture.
There were still lots of colorful trees at Biltmore to see.

Jacksonville Trip - November 2010

We started our Jacksonville trip off by stopping off in Savannah for a day. We walked and walked and looked and looked at the old city. Celebrated Jan's birthday with an excellent meal and topped it off with ice cream and a brownie. And then it was off to JAX. We arrived at 1230PM on Thursday. Jan went shopping and I played golf. We both had fun. We had dinner with Todd (Eddie Mack and Joyce's #2 son) and his girl friend Morgan. They are a nice couple. Then on Friday Jan read and read while I played golf again. I had to play my worst game of the year but it was a beautiful day. And then the Slate family came home from work and school. The girls took off for the high school football game and the four old people went out to dinner. Courtney visited on Saturday and Rick came for lunch on Sunday. Jan and I had gone to church at Mandarin Presbyterian Church. We did a lot of talking and watched too many football games on TV. The Cocks looked pitiful. Maybe next week!! We left early Monday morning. We had a wonderful time.
The first picture of our Jacksonville trip is the last picture we took. You may notice that Jan and I already have on our PJ's! We try to get comfortable early.
