Stella's First Birthday Party July 2012

This is a picture of the birthday girl on the cake!
Mommy, what are we doing at Grammy's house on a Saturday?
I am not sleepy. You just caught me in the middle of a blink!
I am ready for this party to start!
Granddaddy, you are a good baby holder.
Grandmomma, I am so glad that you could come to my party. I hope you remembered to bring a present.
What is this baby's name, mommy?
This is not one of my new toys.
We are in the kitchen getting some lunch.
You do not have to tell me how to do this. I am a big girl and already know. But, thank you anyway.
Everyone is watching the gift opening.
 Let me show you, mommy.
What is in the bag? I think I will check it out.
This is my own special cake.
Poppa and Grammy are watching me eat my cake.
It is not hard digging in this cake.
Mom and dad are putting up the decorations.
We are now back home and I am riding my new truck.
Mommy, I have just got back from grocery shopping.
This was a very good party.

At The Charleston Waterfront - July4,02012

We stayed in Charleston for the Grayson Family reunion. On Saturday we toured the Hunley submarine museum. Then we road around Charleston. And finally we parked at the waterfront looking out over the Cooper River and read our books. We had a great time. There were lots of tourist in Charleston. I took this picture of us!!
It was a sunny day. It was cool under the trees but was very hot in the sunshine. This is a view from where we were sitting.

Across the Cooper you can see the battleship at Patriot's Point.
