Friday Morning Men's Prayer Breakfast

Believe it or not, a handful of men at Second Presbyterian Church have been coming to the church on Friday mornings for the last 10 plus years. We gather for breakfast, Bible study and prayer. We support each other during the difficult days and during the days of celebration.
Our numbers have been as low as 3 and as high as 11. We now have 11 gents who come real faithfully. Come on down and join us at 700PM. We would love to see you there.
Through this gate come the old Christian soldiers of Second Presbyterian Church for their Friday morning breakfast and Bible study.

Valentine Gifts 2010

What you see are chocolate covered strawberries. They have all kinds of coatings on them beside just chocolate.
These are a dozen red roses - long stemmed. Someone very kind and loving gave these to Jan. She certainly deserves them.

This is another picture of the beautiful roses. Who would think to give the roses and candy to Jan. Well, it wasn't Grayson. He
gave her a card, a hug, and a kiss.
The pretty gifts were given by number two son, Ricky. Mom was very surprised when Fedex
showed up two days in a row. It made her day. It is so nice to be remembered.

Ladies Night at Second Presbyterian Church

We have been having Ladies Night at Second Presbyterian Church for about 20 years. This year it was on Valentine's Day, February 14. The men of the church prepare the meal and the entertainment for the ladies. We decorate the tables and give out candy gifts. The menu this year was prime rib, scalloped potatoes, and 7 layer salad. Cal Cannon was the chief cook and bottle washer. Roy Bishop and I were the entertainers for the evening. Here are a few pictures of those who attended. We had about 65 in attendance.
